Boskoop - Bielaar van Laar®

Fruit

Color: intense red, no stripes. Typical Boskoop appearance.

Size: very big, 75/85 and a short stem of 1 or 2 cm.

Storage: great for early sales but for long storage as well.

Flowering: early (10 days before Golden Delicious), triploid, somewhat self-tolerant but cross-pollination is desired.

Production: early and good, not susceptible to biennial bearing.

Growth: slower than the original Boskoop.
